I got so sick of it after hour 60 that I cheesed the travelling by just exiting to my helicopter in the menu, and choosing a landing spot, yet it was still slow. I felt like 30 - 40% of my time were spent riding the horse from one place to another. Little did I know it would be until hour 85 when I would finish the game, and keep in mind, I wasn't even taking my time. By hour 50, I finished chapter 1, and I was ready for it to be over. I was enjoying the general gameplay, but not so much of the world design. MGS5 is also one of my biggest reasons why I now have this mindset. If I see a game that boasts these features, chances are I would avoid them. The only exception for me is the GTA 3D Trilogy, Oblivion, and Fallout NV. I've gotten so sick of it these past few years because Ubisoft's games made me want to avoid them, due to how many Assassin's Creeds and Far Crys I've played. One of my biggest nopes when playing a game is one that has a huge open world, filled with a bunch of side quest and collectables. Instead, I'll be talking about the open world design that killed the game for me. And I won't be talking about the gameplay, because I have no complaints about it, due to how excellent it is. I won't be talking about the story, I've never been a big MGS fan so the story didn't really interest me.
